Elsa's First NH Visit (outside the uterus...)

Well, we got back yesterday from a fabulous week in NH with the families. We spent most of our time just hanging out at either Grammy & Grampa McKernan's house or Grammie & Pop Pop Thorner's. We saw tons of family & Elsa got to be cuddled & loved by everyone. I will let the photos tell the stories...

Here is Uncle Willie giving Elsa a bottle
Here is Grampa hanging out with his baby

I had to force Lil' Sis to come meet little Elsa, but I won & she came!

Lil' Pea hanging out with Auntie Alexis and giving a big smile

My friend from high school, Bekah, came to visit with her new baby Owen who is 4 days older than Elsa

Grandma & Grandpa Oppold came down for brunch at Paul & Monica's on Sunday morning. Here they are with Elsa, Lauren, and Alex.

Here is Auntie Hillary with little miss Elsa in the "sleeper hold"

It was a great week - we had so much fun visiting and having everyone meet Elsa! We also got to see a UNH hockey game, eat some DHOP, have plenty of Dunkin Donuts, and take Elsa to my dad's school and Grammie's library. We miss you already!! xoxo

That's fine. Sometimes you just don't have a choice. I see you didn't get a picture of Dylan either. I guess he was MIA at the party!

Elsa did get plenty of lovin' while she was here.

It was a good thing you explained Hillary's picture. For a minute it looks like Elsa's trying to nurse from the wrong person.

I must say that the sleeper hold is AWESOME! It calms her right down. You're very lucky.

Looks like you had a great trip to NH. Come back soon!! (I'm sorry that I wrote a novel)

Good shots Shel - I love the one of the 4 generations! And I love the fact that there's a picture of me and Elsa - because that means I got to see you guys :) Hope you had a good trip to your NC home, and are settling back into a happy routine. It was great to catch up, even if just a little, and we'll be in touch again soon! xo

Out of all those pictures, did you notice the only one Elsa was smiling at???--GRAMMIE!

The 4 generations picture is very cool. I also just want to point out that the drool on my shirt is Elsa's, not mine. I wasn't feeling particularly cannibalistic that night. :) Sunday night, though...wow, it's good Steve and I got out of there before I ate something I regret. heh heh.
