A Little Elsa Pea

Nothing too exciting to report from here in NC, but here are some pictures of Elsa to share - rockin' the sombrero and trying to get Elmo to play on TV. Plus, these pictures make Elsa look very sweet and we need some reminders of that because she has been an absolute beast for the past week or two. Pretty much ever since she learned the word "no" it has been a fight and a half to get her to do anything in the world.
Do you want to get out of the bath?
"No?"
Do you want to stay in the bath?
"No?"
Ok, time to get out.
"No? No? No?" (proceed to kicking, screaming, biting, crying, hitting, etc...)

Shelley, I LOVE these photos. Could you please send me the jpegs? If getting her out of a bath is anything like getting out of a swing, I do feel bad for you!!

I had a dream last night that Elsa learned a song in a wickehd horrible Nahth Shore accent, kid. She sounded just like my high school chemistry teacher from hell, who asked us if we weren't "retahded" because we didn't understand stoichiometry.

It took me a while to remember that that's not how first language acquisition occurs.

Hopefully Elsa will have learned "y'all" before you leave the South.

oy, i love those insane moments when anything you say and the opposite of anything you say is wrong ;) i've stopped asking yes or no questions. i give a choice and she has a hard time coming up with saying no :)good luck, she's adorable though!!

I wasn't going to comment again but I have to share that the word verification is "crememen." That is amazing.

Wow. I represent your country to foreigners...
