Aaron completed his thesis defense on Tuesday and is now Dr. Thorner! Congratulations!! His family and Stephen were here to celebrate the event along with him. According to Alexis, we all now know how special ed kids feel when they are sitting in the classroom and the teacher is talking and they have no idea what is going on. But, we all stayed awake during his talk! :)
Here is Aaron popping the cork into the ceiling to sign his name in the lab and then celebrating a little (you have to ignore the preggo mama in the background...)

34 Week Twin Update: The ultrasound on Tuesday morning was good - nothing new to report. The twin peas are getting bigger and still moving around. :)

Congratulations to Aaron! Popping champagne corks in a lab seems dangerous to me, but what do I know?! Hooray for a good 34 week report, as well!! See y'all on Saturday!
Congrats, Buddy. I'm proud of you - seriously. Very proud.
congrats dr thorner!!!!
The first pic looks like he is "sciencing" the bottle. like he was swishing some liquid in a beaker and holding up to the light.
Hahaha....like the lab glasses to pop the cork! So proud of you Aaron!
woohoo! congrats aaron!
and congrats to you for cooking those little peas so long, you're amazing!
He does a Mommy proud!
Congratulations again, Dr. Aaron. We had a great time---Love you.
p.s. you do a Mommy proud, too, Shelley!
Herr Doktor von ZZorner, I presume.
Let me know if there are any little kids that start screaming "DOCTAH THOHNAH" and doing everything you DON'T want them to do, resulting in you being put in chains and, zombified, compelled to kill Shelley. That situation wouldn't be ideal.
Congrats Aaron!!!
Congratulations Dr. Thorner!! I'm sure you excited you're finally done. We look forward to hearing what you will do next.
Looking forward to seeing you all!
Love Dad and Mom
Congratulations Aaron Your Mom Is showing me how to leave a comment.
We are all so proud of you I could just cry.. You are too cute Shelly. Love you all Aunt Aileen
Yay! Yay for Aaron!! I am seriously crazy happy for you! I hope you are celibrating by giving Shelley a full body massage.
On another note... Andrew said that he was 99% sure he saw you guys driving today in your Honda civic... Ha! until we both realized you don't drive that anymore and he was wrong. This story would be funnier in person.
I spelled celebrating wrong. Oh and please tell me you had some of that champagne from a beaker or test tube or something sciencey.
