Happy Reester!

Pretty nice little Easter - Aaron & I had an easter egg hunt around the apartment. My mom asked if we played the "Alzheimer's Egg Hunt" where you hide the eggs yourself and wait 1 hour and see if you can remember where you hid them. We did not.

We watched Carolina women's basketball team mutilate a team...then we watched the Carolina men mutilate a team...pretty nice little basketball day.

I learned that we celebrate Easter because (according to a 3rd grader):

"God was nailed to a board and then died after 3 days. Now my mom says he might come to my house for dinner on Easter."

Then Aaron, Jess, and I had Easter dinner at Olive Garden. I know people scoff at Olive Garden, but I have to admit that I really enjoy that place...it's a little far away from our house, so it was a nice little treat. We looked for God at the restaurant, but we didn't see him...although Aaron thinks he may have been smoking a cigar at the bar...

I can't believe we drove all the way to Cary and didn't see God! What a disappointment!

So, here's the sad update to the God story from last week. In that student's weekend update, she wrote:

"Dear Ms. D & Ms. O,
Easter was fun. But my mom forgot to give the Easter Man/Woman our new address, so he/she didn't find our house."

What a sad weekend! First no Easter Man/Woman, then God didn't even show up for Easter dinner. Well, I hope the Easter Man/Woman and God found everyone else's house yesterday.
