I had a dream last night that I asked Aaron to go to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast and he said that he didn't want to go because it was too far to drive (about 30 miles to Cary...) I woke up and promptly told him this dream. Apparently he routinely checks the DD website to see if any new stores have opened in the area. He checks this morning and is like "Erwin Road, Durham - 7 miles away????" And upon further investigation, it is in fact true - a DD has opened on Duke's campus as of last Sunday. It was hard to believe it was really true - it was like my dream had come true!! We still had to get gas in order to make it the 7 miles (I think it's slightly further than that...), but it was so exciting!!
Unfortunately, for some reason, the Coffee Coolatta must be the most difficult drink in the world to make because it seems that more times than not, when I order one, the drink-maker gets this look on his/her face that says "Oh S#$% I have no idea how to make that." And, in fact, they do not...after a few different tries, I finally got one that was drinkable today. Sadly, it was about 85 degrees today and it did not take long to melt. I need to start bringing my DD drink cooler. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it muchly, as well as my chocolate donut, which I assume the baby wanted because I rarely want donuts.
All in all, a fabulous Saturday!

now i want dunks
I've been excited about the relatively new Dunkins in MY Durham, which is why I was confused when your facebook status was such yesterday. You know how there used to only be the craptastic dunkins over at the far end of Main Street? There's a brand new one RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. Amazing. Now we drive down main street to get to A Lot rather than going down 155, so we can get dunkins on the way to school and back. Beautiful.
